We’d like to give a huge shout out to everyone who came to last night’s food swap! It was a lot of fun to meet everyone and to see what they brought as their currency for the swap.
The swap was held in the boardroom at the Oakville United Way. We have to send a big thank you to the United Way for letting us use their space.
It was a small turn out, but it was very lively!
The best part is checking everyone’s goodies and finding out how they were made.
So what was available for swapping?

What a great variety of locally made food to bring home and enjoy.

We are so excited for our first swap of the year! It’s taking place on Tuesday, March 12 from 7-9pm.
There are spaces for 20 people, so make sure you check out our Facebook page to sign up.
Everything and anything is welcome at the swap… just as long as it’s homemade, home baked or self-foraged. Whatever you bring is your currency for the swap.
We will also have a “take a book” corner… so if you have any books that you’d like to send to a good home, bring it along!
