Happy Easter!

Halton Food Swap would like to wish all of our friends, family and everyone in the community a very happy easter! We think this weekend’s weather really means that spring and warmer weather is definitely on its way!

Stay tuned to the blog in the coming weeks, we’ll have some fabulous news about our coming food swap in June! It’s going to be a lot of fun!

March Food Swap

We’d like to give a huge shout out to everyone who came to last night’s food swap! It was a lot of fun to meet everyone and to see what they brought as their currency for the swap.

The swap was held in the boardroom at the Oakville United Way. We have to send a big thank you to the United Way for letting us use their space.

It was a small turn out, but it was very lively!

The best part is checking everyone’s goodies and finding out how they were made.

March 12: Our first swap of the year! Join us!

We are so excited for our first swap of the year! It’s taking place on Tuesday, March 12 from 7-9pm.

There are spaces for 20 people, so make sure you check out our Facebook page to sign up.

Everything and anything is welcome at the swap… just as long as it’s homemade, home baked or self-foraged. Whatever you bring is your currency for the swap.

We will also have a “take a book” corner… so if you have any books that you’d like to send to a good home, bring it along!

Looking forward to meeting everyone! We’ll see you Tuesday.

And yes, we will post photos of the event after, so stay tuned!
